Who We Are
A PRACTICAL APPROACH TO FINANCIAL RECORDS

Making the information behind your business easier to work with.

Financial records are most useful when they are organised, understandable and supported by the right documents.

Celtic Bookkeeping and Accountancy Services Ltd provides support with bookkeeping, the organisation of financial records, accounts preparation tasks and agreed financial summaries. Our work starts with understanding what you need to achieve and what information is available.

Rather than assuming every organisation needs the same service, we clarify the task, agree the expected output and identify any records or explanations needed before work begins.

Work shaped around the task

The scope is discussed and confirmed before work starts, with deliverables matched to the agreed requirement.

Clear communication

Questions and missing information are identified so that outstanding items are easier to follow up.

Our Approach

Careful organisation before complicated explanations.

Useful financial support is not only about preparing a document. It is also about understanding the source information, recording uncertainties and making the result straightforward to review.

01

Start with the records

We establish which statements, invoices, receipts, bookkeeping files or other documents are relevant to the agreed task.

02

Keep the scope clear

Work, expected outputs, fees and delivery arrangements are discussed before the assignment proceeds.

03

Make open questions visible

Where details are missing or inconsistent, we identify the points that need clarification rather than treating uncertain information as confirmed.

04

Provide an agreed handover

Records, summaries or schedules are supplied in the format and within the timeframe agreed for the work.

Areas of Support

Different tasks, one clear working arrangement.

Support is agreed according to the information you hold, the reporting period involved and the output you require.

AREA 01

Bookkeeping & Records

Transaction recording, categorisation, agreed reconciliations and the organisation of supporting financial documents.

AREA 02

Accounts & VAT Support

Preparation of agreed schedules, supporting information and VAT-related transaction records. Formal preparation or submission is included only where specifically agreed.

AREA 03

Reports & Handover

Financial summaries, management information, year-end checklists and organised document handovers based on the agreed requirements.

i

Every assignment has its own agreed scope. The services page explains typical tasks, required records and how deliverables and timing are confirmed.

Working Together

Know what to expect before work begins.

Clear arrangements help keep the work focused and reduce avoidable uncertainty during preparation and handover.

01

A defined scope

We clarify the task, records required, deliverables and agreed fee before proceeding.

02

A realistic timeframe

The expected delivery time is confirmed after the work and required information have been reviewed.

03

Questions when needed

If records are incomplete or unclear, we may need additional information before completing the agreed work.

04

A clear handover

The agreed output and delivery method are confirmed in advance, including any agreed follow-up clarification.

Clarity Matters

Support with defined boundaries.

Our work is based on the records and information supplied. We may ask for clarification where details are missing, inconsistent or unclear.

Work outside the agreed scope is discussed separately, including any additional fee and revised timeframe, before it proceeds.

Bookkeeping or preparation support does not automatically include statutory accounts, audit work, tax advice, tax return submission or filing with a public authority. These activities are included only where expressly agreed and appropriate to the service.

Fees, delivery arrangements, cancellation terms and other conditions are explained through the relevant service information and policies.

Let’s start with what you need.

Tell us a little about your bookkeeping or financial record requirements, and we can discuss the appropriate scope and next steps.
